Bedroom 2
is a pretty twin-bedded room with an en-suite (power) shower, basin and WC. There are plenty of drawers and wardrobe space for those who wish to stay for longer periods.
This bedroom looks over the terrace, main lawn, the vegetable garden and the hills beyond where Jane Austen used to walk over from Chawton to see her friends in Farringdon. In the Summer months when the windows are open, the church bells can be heard in the distance on Sunday morning and, with the bird song, creates a lovely atmosphere of country living.
